You read that right! The Office of Commonwealth Libraries is now offering a pilot program for Libby/OverDrive. As a resident of the Greater Northampton Area, you only need to follow ten simple steps to get your POWER Library E-Card, your PIN, and access to POWER Library’s new digital collection.
- Click here to get your E-Card. Hint: Left-click the link, then click “Open in a new tab” to keep these directions available.
- Select your appropriate age range. (Are you under 18, or are you 18 or older?)
- Fill out the form on the next page. (If you’re 18 or older, our form is shorter! If you’re under 18, you’ll need a parent’s/guardian’s help.)
- Make sure to check the box next to “I am not a robot!”
- Click “Get an E-Card.” Your E-Card number will be emailed to you shortly.
- Now what about that PIN? Go ahead and click here to access the PIN request form. Make sure your E-Card number is handy. (Check out that hint above to keep the directions accessible.)
- Fill out the form. You get to choose your own PIN, so make sure it’s something you’ll remember. Once you complete the form, the “Submit” button should appear.
- Click “Submit.” You may have to wait 2-4 days for confirmation that your PIN was entered into POWER Library’s system. My PIN confirmation email arrived sooner than that, but anything can happen!
- Once you receive your PIN via email, click here to access the collection online or download the Libby app on your device.
- Sign in with your E-Card number and your PIN. Make sure to follow the directions on the yellow stripe across the screen. You’re all set!
