Join Janice Monahan Rodgers as she discusses her books Letters to my Sister and Letters to my Sister Volume 2: Chew Street and Beyond.

They are both comprised of short stories about the postwar years of the 1940’s and 50’s growing up in Allentown.   They chronicle family vacations, adventures in the Chew Street neighborhood and  her family’s big move to the ‘suburbs’ in a nostalgic, funny and sentimental fashion. 

Learn about music therapy and how music can help improve overall health and wellness! Through drumming, instrument playing, singing, songwriting and moving to music, the entire family will gain firsthand experience of the benefits of music therapy, including strategies to help decrease pain, anxiety, depression and grief.  

Registration is required for this program. Registration for this program begins Saturday June 2 at Family Fun Day. This program is part of NAPL's Adult Summer Learning Program - Libraries Rock!
