Friends of NAPL
The Friends group is an association of concerned citizens who use their talents, skills, and interests to:
Some of the things the Friends have done in the past include: purchasing a lighted outdoor sign and a digital indoor sign, purchasing a disc buffing machine, hosting a Vera Bradley & Pampered Chef Bingo, community yard sales, bus trips, supporting the Children's Summer Reading programs, supporting the Library's Basket Social, purchasing an outdoor media drop box, creating a book discussion group and purchasing books for the group, sponsored the 9th grade essay contest, helped with the library's annual drive mailing, and had booths at various community events.
No one is required to help with any one thing. You may simply use the talents you have and choose how you would like to help the library. We do ask that you bring a smile, a desire to help, and if possible, a head full of ideas. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Membership is just $5 per year for an individual or $10 for a family and comes with many opportunities to show your support. For more information, please call 610-262-7537 and speak to any staff member or email Karen Hein .
